Fear of Clowns hypnotherapy; One of the most popular reasons I am approached for is for help overcoming a fear or phobia.
There are lots of people going about their normal daily business who appear perfectly normal. They appear just fine until the trigger for their phobia appears and panic sets in. Within no time at all, they become overcome with panic and fear, and have to stop whatever it is they are doing. The list of fears and phobias that effect so may of us in our everyday lives is endless. The most common ones are fear of spiders, fear of open or enclosed spaces, the dentist. These everyday experiences or objects can fill you with abject terror and have an enormous negative effect on the quality of your life.

One such phobia which, until recently has been considered less common than other phobias but is now becoming a more common is Coulrophobia – a fear of clowns.
Originally clowns were seen in circuses as a comedy act with men dressed in bright and vivid clothes. They would have silly smiley faces tumbling around doing slapstick comedy making their audience laugh. However, movie directors such as Stephen King presented us with images like ‘It’ about an evil clown.It had a horrible and threatening painted face the only purpose was to terrorise us. Other movies reinforced this idea. The Joker in Batman menacing everyone or movies and TV shows with bank robbers wearing sadistic looking and scary clown masks bringing terror into our lives.
Clowns as entertainment at the circus or at birthday parties may be becoming less popular. They are still widespread on social media so if you have a phobia of them it can cause a problem. One of the most effective and successful methods of dealing with this or indeed any other phobia that you may suffer from is hypnotherapy. I will guide you into a state of deep relaxation which will allow me to communicate with your subconscious mind to help you overcome and conquer this disabling fear once and for all. You may or may not remember where your phobia originated from, but that doesn’t matter as your subconscious mind will know the reason. A fear or phobia of any kind usually brings about physiological symptoms such as sweaty hands, palpitations, light headedness and shaking. In Psychology we call these symptoms the fight or flight response.
You can bring on these symptoms by simply thinking of your fear even when the cause of your phobia is not present sometimes even by seeing a picture of it.
