Nervous Twitching Cured with Hypnotherapy
What Are Twitching and Nervous Tics?
Nervous tics are “an involuntary, compulsive, rapid, repetitive, stereotyped movement or vocalization.” (Online medical dictionary)
Describing them as Involuntary clearly means that the person who suffers from nervous tics or twitches does not have any conscious control control over these unpredictable and often embarrassing movements. Stress does increase the intensity and frequency at which they occur. When the sufferer is engaged in some sort of activity that requires really heavy concentration. For example, when reading a book, watching something on TV, or watching a video the tics or twitches can often decrease noticeably. When children experience twitches or ticks, it more often than not bothers the parents more than it does the children themselves. On this page, I will mainly focus on treating nervous tics or twitching through the medium of hypnotherapy primarily anxiety focused.
Facial Twitching Causes
Facial twitching or facial tics, facial tics are most often triggered by excessive amounts of stress or anxiety. Twitching of course can and does occur in any part of the body. Stress and anxiety are the most common underlying cause of muscle twitching. However, muscle twitching can also be caused by nervous system disorders. There are indeed many causes of Muscle twitching or tics.
There are many lifestyle habits that could be aggravating your nervous tics. Avoiding or decreasing these situations may sometimes help you tp decrease the severity of tics or even make it disappear altogether. Such situations may include:
• Alcoholism and alcohol abuse
• quitting Smoking or Alcohol
• Having too many caffeine drinks
• Side effects of some perscribed medications
• Tiredness, anxiety, work-related stress and intense periods of emotions, such as divorce, bereavement etc.
Tics. Twitches and Hypnotherapy
Nervous tics, occurring in adults or children, can be effectively treated through hypnotherapy. As long as the therapy is employed professionally by a properly Psychologically qualified therapist, tics and twitches of this origin will be greatly reduced or even completely eliminated. Hypnotherapy communicates with the subconscious mind, which is where the disorder originates. I work by probing deep into your unconscious mind I will use techniques and suggestions that reduce, and in the greater majority of cases, eliminate the stress and anxiety which is causing the tics and twitches. When the nervous tics and twitches go away as a result of the hypnotherapy, you will feel a deep sense of relief. Many of my patients have been surprised at how the twitches and tics quickly disappear, seemingly without effort. I myself have been astonished at how easy it is to make twitches and tics simply go away. All it takes is for you to listen to the therapy once a day for a month, though your symptoms will start to decrease before you reach the end of the month.
